Yarra Valley Grammar’s inclusive, welcoming community is one our students genuinely love, and a place where they feel supported, inspired and the absolute confidence to achieve.
Yarra Valley Grammar has a proud tradition. Established in 1966, the School opened its doors with 135 students. Since that time, we have grown to a stable enrolment profile of around 1100 students. We believe this number to be optimum – large enough to offer our students a diverse program, but small enough that each and every student is known – by both their teachers and peers.
Established originally as a boys’ school, Yarra Valley Grammar became co-educational in 1978, just twelve years after its foundation. Our commitment to co-education and our success in educating girls and boys together is thanks to more than three decades’ commitment and experience.
Yarra Valley Grammar students are supported by a talented, dedicated teaching staff who work hard to bring out each student’s personal best. Our teachers really love what they do, and their passion for learning is passed onto their students.
Set on 29 magnificent hectares, Yarra Valley Grammar’s outstanding learning environment is enhanced by state-of-the-art facilities. From computer labs to professional standard sporting and performing arts venues, students at Yarra Valley Grammar have access to some of Melbourne’s best educational resources
